Linda K Price, CPA: Owner and Accountant
I moved to Columbus in 1994 and have made this my permanent home. I have 3 grown children and one in college. My husband, Jim, also owns a Caliber Inspection Services, with which he stays very busy. I started my Accounting business in 2001 part time while working as an accounting manager for a manufacturer here in Columbus. In 2003 I moved to full time at my Accounting business. My hobbies include spending time with my family, watching Husker Football and Volleyball and gardening.
Victoria Osten: Staff Accountant
My name is Victoria Osten and I am a full-time staff accountant. I moved to Columbus in 2012 with my husband Cody. I am originally from Nebraska City – the home of Arbor Day! I attended the University of Nebraska – Omaha and received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, Banking and Finance, so you could say that I like numbers a lot. I have 17 years of payroll and accounting practice already, so I am able to jump right in when someone needs help. When I’m not here at the office, you can find me playing taxi driver to our son Kyler. He is involved in 4-H, Robotics, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Wrestling, and he is active on the show pig circuit each summer. When I get a few moments of “mom time” I like to read, go on outdoor adventures, and play sand volleyball. I will be working towards receiving my CPA license soon, so I can better serve your needs.
Lin Anderson: Staff Accountant
I am Lin Anderson and am working as a full-time staff accountant. I have worked in the administrative side of health care for the last 15 years with 12 of those years being the Executive Director at Countryside Home in Madison, NE.
I graduated from Wayne State College with a master’s degree in Business Administration, with accounting and finance as my focus. I have experience in payroll, tax preparation, and business management. I currently own and operate a couple of businesses in Madison, as well as residing in Madison for the last 43 years.
I have 4 wonderful children, and 11 active grandchildren ranging from ages 21 to 2, so there is never a dull moment when our families are together. I love watching my grandkids participate in baseball, basketball, football, soccer and various other activities. I enjoy being with friends, dancing, music and being outdoors.
Karly Albers: Staff Accountant
I’m Karly Albers, and I moved to Nebraska in 2019 from New Jersey, but I was born in Guatemala. Currently, I’m a student at Wayne State College. My goal is to earn my Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting in December 2024. I started working with Linda in January of 2024 and I enjoy it. The work atmosphere is the reason why. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I want to become a CPA. My husband Kenny and I have four boys together. In my free time I love to spend time with my kids. Their clever conversations keep me occupied and keep me from getting bored. I also enjoy traveling and seeing new places.
Carrie Maguire: Payroll Specialist
I am originally from Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from Creighton University in Omaha with a degree in Accounting. My husband, Fred, our kids, and I moved to Columbus in 2008 so that he could join the family business Columbus Steel Supply. My prior work experience in Omaha and Columbus includes auditor for a public accounting firm, staff accountant, insurance and payroll specialist, and business manager/bookkeeper. We have four children – our daughter who just got married and lives in Columbus, a son who attends UNL, and two other sons who are in high school and keep us very busy with football, tennis, basketball, and soccer. We enjoy watching them compete and I also enjoy as hobbies playing board games with my family, watching Husker volleyball games, running, baking, and reading.
Ruth Van Horn: Payroll Specialist
My name is Ruth Van Horn and I work part-time for Linda as the Payroll Specialist. My husband, Dean, and I moved to Columbus in 2020 from North Platte. We have a son and one grandchild in Kansas that we do not get to see often enough. I am originally from Scottsbluff and am happy to be back in the land of Big Red football after living in Kansas for over 25 years. My prior experience includes working for a CPA in Abilene, Kansas for 11 years in addition to working in various offices in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska. I love quilting and enjoy playing the piano.
Crystal Keyes: Bookkeeper
I was born and raised here in Columbus Nebraska and am headed into my senior year at Bible Baptist Christian School. I’m the youngest of five kids in my family. My brother started a business in 2021 and I’ve done his bookkeeping for him ever since. I’ve worked for Linda for about 2 years doing mostly bookkeeping and helping with tax returns. I’m currently working towards an Associates of Science degree with a major in Accounting. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and playing piano.
